Your national representative – industry advocacy
As Australia’s national body for tour guides, we are the voice and champion of our members.
We support the tour guide profession in every capacity. Representing it in policy and advocacy, upholding professional standards, nurturing talent and celebrating achievement.
We have affiliations and partnerships across business, government and industry bodies and provide these sectors with advice and direction on how to make progress for our profession possible.
Our committee and leadership team regularly get invited to sit on industry roundtables and represent and advocate on behalf of tour guides nationally.
Tour Guides Australia is a member of the Australian Tourism Export Council, Victorian Tourism Industry Council and the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations.
Industry and member news
Newsletters provide new member information, interesting information about the tour guiding business, articles about local points of interest for guides, a community calendar, and details about upcoming meetings and events, among other things. Newsletters are published bi-monthly.
